COVID-19 UPDATE FROM JEEP® IRELAND – 22 October 2020

We wanted to take this opportunity to update you, our valued customer, on our actions during this unique and challenging period. Our number one priority is always the safety and well-being of our customers, employees and dealership staff.

Following the reintroduction of Level 5 restrictions on 22nd of October our dealerships will be adhering to government guidelines and will be operating as follows;

Service:
• Open for regular servicing and maintenance

Please contact your dealer directly (via the details found on the (Dealer Locator ) prior to arrival to secure an appointment so that all safety protocols can be adhered to.

Sales:
• For the time being most of our dealers are operating in a remote / online capacity and will be responding to phone / video calls and emails.
• Some of our dealers are operating a contactless click and collect / delivery facility (Please confirm with local dealer directly in relation to this)

Obviously some curtailments to normal service will apply, we ask for your cooperation and patience during this time.

ARE DEALERS OPEN?

All our dealers’ aftersales departments remain open as normal, unfortunately physical showrooms are currently closed during the current restrictions.

Dealer staff are responding to your queries by answering phone calls and responding to emails and can assist you with all new Jeep and used vehicles enquiries including our current offers visible here

Some dealers are also offering a “Click and Collect” service and may be able to organise the delivery of your vehicle to you.

CAN I STILL BOOK A TEST DRIVE FROM HOME?

Social distancing guidelines mean that, for now at least, physical test drives had to be suspended. Our dealers may be able to assist with video calls and virtual tours etc,

CAN I GET MY JEEP®  DELIVERED TO MY HOME OR CAN IT BE MADE READY FOR CONTACTLESS COLLECTION

SHOULD I EXPECT A DELAY IN GETTING MY JEEP®?

Possibly, we’re sorry about that, but we’re working hard to keep things as smooth as possible. Please contact your dealer for the latest update

CAN I TAKE MY JEEP®  IN FOR A SERVICE?

Our dealers are still open for servicing & repairs.They may be prioritising key workers and essential vehicles, so please bear this in mind when contacting your local dealer to discuss any work you may need.

WOULD I LOSE MY WARRANTY IF I DON’T SERVICE MY JEEP® ON TIME?

If you’re worried about invalidating your warranty due to disruption from COVID-19, you can contact our Customer Services team on 1 800 505 337 or 00 800 0 426 5337* who will take this into account and provide you with a case number that can be used to ensure your Jeep® is serviced as soon as possible once possible. You should ensure that you have your Jeep®  serviced as soon as it is possible once restrictions have been lifted or as soon as it is safe and appropriate for you to do so.

I HAVE AN ISSUE WITH MY VEHICLE AND MY WARRANTY IS ABOUT TO EXPIRE. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

MY JEEP® IS AT A DEALER WHICH NOW MAY BE CLOSED. CAN I TAKE IT BACK?

Please contact your local dealer who should be answering all phone calls and replying to emails and they will be able to advise you directly.

MY JEEP® IS ON FINANCE, WHAT HAPPENS IF I LOSE MY INCOME?

If COVID-19 has affected your income and you might not be able to make your payments on time, We suggest you contact your dealer or  finance provider directly and they should be able to assist you
